Description
Loose leaf black tea. We're proud to work with Fintea Growers Co-operative Union in Kericho, Kenya. It represents over 10,000 small holder tea growers in the region and supplies at least 12% of our Fairtrade 99 tea, according to our harvest yields. The co-operative works to empower marginalised smallholders and improve market access for the farmers. With the support of Fairtrade, smallholders have been able to build houses and access education for their children. They have learned to grow their businesses and use good agricultural practices, including forest conservation. Expertly blended for a richer cup Co-op 99 Blend Fairtrade Tea is our classic signature blend, loved by tea drinkers since the 1900s. Smooth, refreshing and full-bodied with a flavour and strength that's just right. We make sure that every cup you enjoy is always the very best quality. That's why our 99 Blend is now made with a higher grade of leaves for a richer, smoother, more rounded flavour. Tasted and approved by our expert blenders for the perfect cup of tea every time.
