It represents over 10,000 small holder tea growers in the region and supplies at least 12% of our Fairtrade 99 tea, according to our harvest yields. The co-operative works to empower marginalised smallholders and improve market access for the farmers. With the support of Fairtrade, smallholders have been able to build houses and access education for their children. They have learned to grow their businesses and use good agricultural practices, including forest conservation.
