In 1969 Manuel and Angeles Torres opened a churrería (potato crisp stand) in Premià de Mar, on the Mediterranean coast by Barcelona. Over the years their children helped them grow the business.

Torres Selecta have worked with Spanish potato growers for 35 years to get the potatoes they want. And still just outside Barcelona they continue to hand cook their gourmet potato crisps.
